The tanker SEASTAR was one of the two sister ships that initiated in 1998 the building of greek owned ships in China.The building of over 700 ships for greek owners during the next years has decisively contributed to the establishment of China as a leading global shipbuilding power within a short time.Since the beginning of the 21th century,the Greeks on average are taking delivery from chinese builders, one ship almost every 6,5 days!
